Rick Shriver

Rick serves as Leibold Irrigation, Northeast / Mid-Atlantic operations manager which is based in Delaware. Over the past 25 plus years, he has had numerous golf course industry experiences that include working as a superintendent on golf maintenance, course construction and renovation projects, divisional manager for a certified golf course builder, as well as sales and servicing for irrigation products manufactured by leading irrigation companies. In addition, as a graduate of Rutgers University turf program, Rick has assisted many colleagues with their own course preparations for professional golf events throughout the country.

Troy Tietjens

Troy started out in the golf industry as an assistant superintendent for a golf course just outside Detroit, MI. He spent four years there and was able to learn a lot about the work ethic and dedication it takes to manage a 36 hole facility. Troy moved to Chicago and became an assistant superintendent at a club on the North Shore and in January of 2005 he joined Leibold Irrigation. Troy currently resides in the greater Chicago metro area and services our customers across the country. Troy believes that "My goal is to continue to provide our customers unmatched service and quality workmanship that they have grown to expect from Leibold Irrigation Inc."

“Knowledgeable, experienced, committed to excellence”, these words are synonymous with John Leibold, president and owner of Leibold Irrigation.

For almost thirty years John Leibold has been committed to providing his customers with the highest quality of irrigation installation possible. Whether the project involves 100 heads or 5000 heads, John has raised the standards in which irrigation systems are installed.

John’s irrigation experience began in 1980 as a laborer for an irrigation contractor. After being employed for several years, he ventured out on his own; thus, in 1987, Leibold Irrigation was established. What began as a two-man operation has now escalated to 100 plus employees with offices in East Dubuque, Illinois; Toledo, Ohio, and Sarasota, Florida.

To date, John has been involved in over two hundred irrigation projects. These projects range from 9-hole public courses to the most recognized courses in the nation. With his experience and knowledge, it is with confidence that one can say John Leibold has found his niche in today’s irrigation industry.

Tim Hubbard

Tim serves as Leibold Irrigation’s Midwest/Southwest Operations Manager and resides in Sioux Falls, S.D. He graduated from South Dakota State University with a BS in Landscape Design. Tim went on to work 5 years as an irrigation superintendent and 11 years as a project manager over new golf course construction, existing golf course remodel work and the construction and irrigation installation on parks and sports fields. Tim’s experience, knowledge and expertise of the many facets of golf course management, construction and irrigation along with his strong work ethic make him a valuable asset to our Leibold team.
